The
Burden
The changes taking place in UST law's create an additional burden
for UST owners. This means more resources, planning, training, licensing,
etc. In general, many companies incur the upfront expense of development
and delivery of specific training needs to license their UST Operator
only to find out that not everyone passes the state's UST licensing
test. Moreover, employee retention and promotions may require continuous
training and licensing expenses.
Depending on the number of UST sites owned by a single entity,
allocation of staff in any particular area may become an expensive
proposition. This, combined with the additional compliance tracking,
can become a burden to your UST management and an unnecessary use
of resources.
